If Only
We could set aside all the differences and issues, Life would really be a simple affair. And I really wanted it to be. I don't need someone to tell me that my life is going on well or it sucks because as the person in control, I know better or at least I better know.
And because recently life could and should really be better, my mum went around the country seeking advice from fortune tellers. They told us what we already should know and of course suggested solutions to make our lives better or even wonderful. I am not dead against fortune telling, especially when they tell you that you are the smartest person or the soon to be greatest person on earth. But too much of something is always not too good. Moderation is always the key. But moderation is usually not in my control. With my mum around, there is not moderation. Ever.
Ok, I am sorry to put the blame on my mum because I could have put a stop to all these. Then I don't know why. Because on Friday evening, I succumbed to peer pressure to have my fortune read. I mean I should not really blame anyone for this. Off record, I was really reluctant and felt like killing them for giving me pressure. They were right, that fortune teller was bloody accurate. And that hurts big time. I mean, you definitely don't need someone to tell you that your life is a low down at the moment. Or least I don't want constant reminder.
For the rest of the night, my soul left my body. And I am not sure if it is back yet. As if life is not terrible enough, The Boyfriend went on to tell his lifestory back home. Yes, all about his best buddies and his girlfriends. I felt like I miss out the exciting and interesting parts of his life. I can't recall him having so much fun with me. I felt like we are miles apart. Like we would never understand what each other had and would go through in life. I finally understand so near yet so far. I couldn't focus on what the rest of the universe was talking and felt the need to go home and seek solace in my BoBo. Which I did. I dumped the group then and cried buckets on the way home. Since that night, I was in no mood of entertaining others with my smile.
That fortune teller saw my life and stole my smile.

Simple AMercian,
I kissed that reflection and she told me that we are in this together and we will somehow make it.
Babes, drunk and stupid antics that has 1) nearly landed me in prison and 2) nearly gotten me killed is not so much fun at 27 :)
Think about this - Some of the best times that I have had in the last year include:
1. Taipei!!!!
2. Discovering a new word in chinese i.e. 'Trrr'
3. Throwing my first ever X-Mas party, yea! So who cares if the night was a lil bit of a flop, preparing the food was so much fun :)
4. Count Dracula from Transylvania
5. Chasing drunk friends up an escalator to prevent suicidal activities only to see him cartwheel on the soapy floor of a Carl's Junior...hahahaha
6. Shopping binges...oh my poor bank account!
7. Partying with the boys at home
8. Discussing our plans to fly the 50 million rupees dud helicopter
9. All the food that we keep gobbling down all over this island
AND
10. Top of the list, well, am wiggling my eyebrows, u know what that means :)
